Most projects involve a combination of soil mechanics, foundation assessments, and geologic assignments. We participate in the construction of structures ranging from average-sized residences, to tall buildings with braced excavations. Challenges our team frequently encounters include producing simple reports that clients can understand, preparing contract documents for construction processes, and creating the designs associated with construction engineering. Engineers

Every entry-level engineer and engineering geologist is required to mentor with a registered engineer, enabling him or her to learn reliable engineering design and construction techniques. Producing superior work unsupervised will help facilitate the ultimate career objective of personal registration. The speed at which and engineer reaches this level of independence depends on the individual’s personal ambition.

This is ideal for those who have a BSCE with a concentration in soil mechanics or an MSCE specializing in geotechnical engineering, structures, or environmental engineering.

Geologist

All entry-level geologists and new engineering geologists mentor with a registered professional who previously minored in geology. The main goal of this job is to eventually be able to perform reliable project execution in design and construction without supervision.  The speed at which the new geologist reaches this level of independence depends on that person’s level of drive. Areas of specialization include erosion control, slope stability, groundwater, geologic faulting, site feasibility assessments, and environmental evaluations.

Immediate openings are available for specialists in geology with a BS or MS, and qualified engineering geologists or environmental specialists.

Project Engineer

The Project Engineer is a key member of our staff who is responsible for the planning, execution, and fiscal performance of all projects. A minimum of four years of experience in foundation design and construction are needed along with professional registration. All project engineers are also required to mentor other entry level engineers and facilitate their development, personal registration, and eventual growth into the role of project engineer.

Applicants much have a BSCE with a concentration in soil mechanics, or a MSCE specializing in geotechnical engineering, structures, or environmental engineering, along with at least two years of experience.
